Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Appeared on TENAA With 5.99-Inch Full Screen Display
Xiaomi is about to launch a new smartphone under its Redmi Note series called Redmi Note 5. The Redmi Note 5 would be the successor of the Redmi Note 4.
The rumors about both design and specifications have already leaked out of Redmi Note 5 couple of times earlier this month. The rumors of the device got stronger when Xiaomi’s alleged smartphone Redmi Note 5 was spotted on TENAA a China’s certification site with codenames MET7/MEE7. However, TENAA did not mention the name of the smartphone, but it’s being highly speculated that the smartphone will be named Redmi Note 5.
According to TENAA, the Redmi Note 5 will have a 5.99-inch display of 2160 × 1080 pixels resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio based on image. The smartphone could be powered by octa-core processor. Earlier rumours said that Note 5 could come with Snapdragon 630 but a new rumor suggests that Note 5 could be powered by Snapdragon 636 which is announced recently, and is expected to come in two variants, one with 3GB RAM + 32GB storage and other with 4GB RAM + 64GB storage with 128GB storage expansion.
The Redmi Note 5 could come with a single lens camera, while early rumors suggested that it would come with the dual camera lens. The Redmi Note 5 would run on Android 7.1.2 Nougat out of the box and supports hybrid SIM slot. The Redmi Note 5 will come with a smaller battery 4000 mAh battery than the Note 4 comes with a 4100 mAh.
The listing says that it will be available in Black, Rose Gold, Gold, White, Blue, Red, Pink, Gray and Silver color options and measures 158.5×75.4x8mm and weighs 179.5 grams.
