Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 successor Redmi Note 5 has been leaked in the alleged image found on Weibo. The image suggests that the smartphone will bear a bezel-less display. The leaked image shows the front side of the smartphone with some of the key specs of the device.
The image shows that the Note 5 has a full-screen design 5.99 inches Full HD+ display with rounded corners with an aspect ratio of 18:9. It will have a 12-megapixel rear camera, while there is a 5MP front shooter for selfies and a 4,000mAh battery. The smartphone is running Android 7.1.2 Nougat and it will be powered by Snapdragon 625 chipset. It has 64GB of internal storage but there’s no information whether the storage is expandable or not. The image shows 54GB of storage free, which means it is the higher-end variant of the Redmi Note 5. However, we can expect Xiaomi to launch the handset in three variants 2GB + 32GB, 3GB + 32GB and 4GB + 64GB.
The fingerprint scanner could be placed on the rear side as it cannot be seen on the front side. The Power key and volume up and down buttons are laying on the right side of the device.
There is no word as of now when the device will be launched. However, we can expect Xiaomi to announce it somewhere at the beginning of 2018.
