Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus Render Leaked Confirms FullView Display and Dual Cameras
Xiaomi introduced its Mi Mix 2 which was the company’s first smartphone with an 18:9 display launched in September. Now a new render image of Xiaomi’s smartphone leaked which is suggesting that Xiaomi would soon introduce a new smartphone under its Redmi series with an 18:9 FullView display.
An alleged image has been found on Weibo and it is believed to be Redmi 5 Plus. The image shows both front and back panels of the alleged Redmi 5 Plus. The image shows two cameras with dual LED flash on the back aligned with the rear-facing fingerprint scanner. At the front, we can see narrow bezels on the top and bottom of the display, and a display panel with ultra-thin bezels as well. The power button and volume controls are on right side.
According to previous reports, the Redmi 5 Plus could sport a 5.9-inch FHD+ display with an aspect ratio of 18:9. Redmi 5 Plus could be featured with either a Snapdragon 625 or Snapdragon 630 chipset. It could be available in two variants 3GB RAM + 32GB storage and 4GB RAM + 64GB storage.
The dual camera setup on the back likely to be contained a 16-megapixel and a 5-megapixel. The handset could sport a large 4000 mAh battery. No word on when Xiaomi will introduce the Redmi 5 Plus, but we could expect that company would launch it before the year ends.
