Xiaomi Mi Note 3 4GB RAM Variant Launched with Snapdragon 660 SoC

The new Mi Note 3 with 4GB RAM variant comes with the same specs that we have seen on 6GB RAM variant.

Xiaomi had launched the Mi Note 3 smartphone with 6GB RAM and with two storage options 64GB or 128GB in China back in September. Today Xiaomi has launched a cheaper variant of Mi Note 3 with 4GB RAM model with the same 64GB storage at price of 1999 yuan (Approx. $300 USD) in China.

The new Mi Note 3 with 4GB RAM variant comes with the same specs that we have seen on 6GB RAM variant. It is powered by Snapdragon 660 and sports 5.5-inch 1080p display. It comes with dual 12MP + 12MP rear cameras with wide-angle lens, f/1.8 aperture, 2x optical zoom, PDAF and dual LED flash. At the front, it has a 16-megapixel camera with AI-based Beautify feature. It comes with facial recognition and fingerprint sensor at front.

The smartphone is powered by 3500 mAh battery, support for Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 and it runs on Android 7.1 (Nougat) with MIUI 9. The connectivity options include 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11c, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/A-GPS, and USB Type-C. Sensors on board include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, digital compass, gyroscope, infrared, and proximity.

The Mi Note 3 4GB RAM variant comes in Black and Blue colors options and will go on sale in China starting from November 23. There is no information about its international availability.

Xiaomi has also reduced the Xiaomi Mi Note 3 6GB variant prices in China at CNY 2,299 (Approx. $345 USD) for the 64GB inbuilt storage and CNY 2,599 (Approx. $392 USD ) for the 128GB inbuilt storage variant.
