Xiaomi Confirms Mi MIX 2 Launch Set for 11, September

Xiaomi's Mi MIX 2 is rumored to be come in three variants 4GB, 6GB and 8GB RAM powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor.

Xiaomi is now all set to introduce successor of its last year’s Mi MIX. Xiaomi on today early morning confirmed that company is going to launch Mi MIX 2 at an event on 11, September.

Xiaomi says that event will take place in Beijing. However, the opening time for the event has not given as of now.

There are no details have about Mi MIX 2, but it is expected to come with a better screen-to-body ratio up to 93%. The have Mi MIX 91.3% screen-to-body ratio. Some previous leaks claimed that the Mi MIX 2 may come with 3D facial recognition.

Xiaomi’s Mi MIX 2 is rumored to come in three variants 4GB, 6GB and 8GB RAM powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor. It could come up with a 6.4-inch QHD display. In the camera, it might have 19-megapixel at a rear and 13-megapixel front at front.

The previous leaks suggested that it would come in 128GB and 256GB storage options, and the 8GB RAM variant will be available in the limited edition. The smartphone is said to powered by 4500 mAh battery and run on Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS.

No details leaked about pricing but the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 will be slightly more expensive than the original. To recall the Mi MIX was launched at a price of CNY 3,499 (Approx. #330 USD) for the 4GB RAM + 128GB storage while the 6GB RAM + 256GB storage model was priced at CNY 3,999 (Approx. $605 USD).
