In May a new flip smartphone from Samsung spotted on TENAA with model number SM-G9298, has now once again appeared in new press render after two months, which is likely to be called Samsung W2018 as Samsung has introduced two flip smartphones in 2015 and 2016 with name on W2016 and W2017 receptively.

The new leaked images of the smartphone shows the front, back and sides as well. The design of the leaked image is same that spotted on TENAA.

According to TENAA the the smartphone which carries a model number of SM-G9298 sports 4.2-inch 1080p screens and powered by Snapdragon 821AB chipset paired with 4GB of RAM, while internal memory is 64GB.

The Samsung W2018 will have an 12MP rear and a 5MP front camera. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS and will be powered by only 2,300 mAh battery. However, recent rumors said W2018 would come with Snapdragon 835 processor and 6GB RAM.

W2018 is expected to have NFC support to use Samsung Pay and wireless charging. It will also come loaded with S Voice support and that Bixby will not be available.

There is no much information available above W2018, but first it was speculated to debut somewhere in August.

Samsung has recently sent out press invite for its Galaxy Unpacked event held on August 23, 2017 at Avenue Armory Park in New York City, where Samsung could launch company’s next high-end smartphone Galaxy Note 8.
