Samsung W2018 Flip Phone Will Go Official on December 1
The era of the flip phone is not over yet, Samsung will keep this trend alive with its W2018 flip phone which will be officially launched on December 1 in Xiamen, China. The official poster includes the past 10 years devices of W-series and celebrity guests invited to the launch.
Samsung W2018 will sport dual 4.2-inch Super AMOLED Full HD display on both the internal and external panels just like its predecessor the W2017, which was launched last year. This provides a sharp 524 pixels per inch, making it VR-friendly device. This year Samsung has already introduced mid-range Galaxy Folder 2 back in August. But the W2018 will be powerful flip phone ever made by Samsung. It could be powered by 2.15GHz quad-core Snapdragon 820 processor with 4GB of RAM. The W2018 could have a 12MP camera at back and 5MP front-facing camera, and it might be the first smartphone to have a camera with a F/1.5, and it will offer 4K video recording.
It will be powered by 2,300mAh battery and will run on Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box. It will launch with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of built-in storage. The Samsung W2018 will also feature Bixby with a dedicated button and Samsung Pay.
The W2018 will launch in China and there is no information about its international availability. However, W2018 is said to be a business smartphone with high-end specs and it might be expensive.
