Samsung Introduced Pink Color Variant of Galaxy Note8 in Taiwan
Samsung had announced the Galaxy Note8 on 23, August in four color options Midnight Black, Maple Gold, Orchid Gray and Deep Sea Blue. Now on today Samsung has introduced a fifth color option “Star Pink” after an event in Taiwan.
According to sources, 30% smartphones sold in the country are in some shade of Pink and this probably the main reason behind the pink color variant of Galaxy Note8 launch in Taiwan. It is not confirmed that Pink variant will be available in other countries or not, but it looks like it will be only available in Taiwan.
The pink variant of Galaxy Note8 is priced same TWD 34,200 (Approx $1137 USD). The smartphone comes with the same specifications.
To recall, The Galaxy Note8 comes with 6.3-inch Quad HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity Display lets you see more and scroll less on the 18.5:9 display ratio and has S Pen. The Galaxy Note8 come in two variants, one is powered by 64 bit Octa core (2.35GHz Quad + 1.9GHz Quad) Qualcomm Snapdragon 835, MSM8998 processor with Qualcomm Adreno 540 GPU, and second is powered by 64 bit Octa core (2.3GHz Quad + 1.7GHz Quad) Samsung Exynos 9 Octa 8895 processor with ARM Mali-G71 MP20 GPU. Both variants come with 6GB LPDDR4X RAM and available in UFS 2.1 type 64GB, 128GB and 256GB internal storage with microSD card support up to 256GB.
The Galaxy Note8 is the company’s first smartphone come with two 12MP rear cameras with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) on both the wide-angle and telephoto lenses. It is also equipped with an 8MP Smart Auto Focus front-facing camera for sharp selfies and video chats.
The Galaxy Note8 offers a choice of biometric authentication options including iris and fingerprint scanning. The Galaxy Note8 is powered by 3,300 mAh battery with Wireless Charging compatible with WPC and PMA, and fast charging compatible with QC 2.0.
