Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Confirmed to Launch on 23, August at Unpacked Event

The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 could be priced at around $1,000 in South Korea. In other markets like the US and Europe it will be priced at around $1,100.

Samsung Galaxy Note 8 has been in rumor from last few week. Now finally it is been confirmed that it will launch during an Samsung’s Unpacked event. Samsung will hold the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event on August 23, 2017 at Avenue Armory Park in New York City, USA. The official event will be opened at 11am EST.

Early leaks suggested that Samsung would launch Galaxy Note 8 on 23th, August, now we have the official confirmation from the Samsung. However, Samsung did not say much about its launch, it has just used the tagline “Do bigger things” which may indicate a smartphone with larger display and more features.

The company has started sending our invites on its web and it has also shared the invite on its official Twitter account. Samsung has send out .gif animated image of its invites which shows an image of a smartphone with Infinity Display similar like Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+. The S Pen can also be seen right alongside the outline in the invite image.

According to a previous leak, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 could be priced at around $1,000 in South Korea. In other markets like the US and Europe it will be priced at around $1,100.

The Galaxy Note 8 is reported to come up with a 6.3-inch Quad HD Super AMOLED display and will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 or Exynos 8895 chipset paired with 6GB RAM and also in 8GB variant. The Note 8 could be available on either 64GB or 128GB of internal storage which can be expandable further. It will come with an enhanced S Pen, will also support DeX and it will be multitasking device.

Galaxy Note 8 will have 12-megapixel dual-camera setup at the rear panel and could be powered by 3,300 mAh battery.
