OnePlus 5T With 6.01-Inch 18:9 Display Launched, Price Starts at $499

After five months of OnePlus 5, OnePlus on today launched OnePlus 5T at an event in Brooklyn, New York City.

The highlight of the OnePlus 5T is it comes with a display of 18:9 aspect ratio which is currently on trend. The OnePlus 5T runs on same Snapdragon 835 as its predecessor OnePlus 5, while it was first rumored to launch with Snapdragon 836 SoC. The fingerprint sensor has been moved to the back to unlock the phone in 0.2 seconds and it’s within easy reach. You can also use face recognition to unlock the phone and it does support 3.5mm audio jack.

The OnePlus 5T comes with 6.01-inch Full HD+ (1080×2160) Optic AMOLED Display with an 18:9 aspect ratio and 80.5% screen-to-body ratio and with DCI-P3 color coverage, compared to the 5.5-inch 1080p screen on the OnePlus 5. It has the same 16-megapixel primary rear camera with wide-angle lens and large f/1.7 aperture, and 20-megapixel telephoto lens with a f/1.7 aperture for better low-light photography and improved bokeh effect. It has the same 16-megapixel front-facing camera.

It runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS with Oxygen OS 4.7 which will be upgradable to Android 8.0 Oreo in near future. It is powered by 3300mAh battery with Dash Charge.

The OnePlus 5T comes with Anodized Aluminum unibody in Midnight Black color and is priced at $499 for the 6GB RAM with 64GB storage and $559 for 8GB RAM with 128GB storage in the USA.
