OnePlus 5 was launched in India in back June in two variants 6GB RAM + 64GB storage variant and the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variants. It was first available in the Slate Gray color variant, after that it was available in Midnight Black color and then earlier this month it was launched in Soft Gold variant.
Only the Midnight Black variant was available in the 8GB RAM variant. The Slate Gray and the newly introduced Soft Gold had been limited only to the 6 GB RAM variant. But, now the Slate Gray color will also be available in the 8 GB RAM while the Soft Gold variant still remain to the 6 GB RAM model.
Slate Gray 8 GB RAM variant is now exclusively available to purchase in India through Amazon India at price of Rs 37,999 (Approx $592 USD) during the OnePlus Super Seller Week starts from 21st, August to 25th, August. It is also available on oneplusstore.in.
OnePlus 5 comes with 5.5-inch 1080p HD Optic AMOLED 2.5D curved Corning Gorilla Glass 5 display and it is powered by 64-bit 2.45GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 835 10nm Mobile Platform with Adreno 540 GPU, and runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat with Oxygen OS.
It have a Dual (16MP + 20MP) Cameras. The 16MP rear camera comes with dual LED Flash, Sony IMX398 sensor, f/1.7 aperture, 1.12μm pixel size, EIS, while secondary 20MP camera comes with with f/2.6 aperture, Sony IMX350 sensor, 1.0μm pixel size, and record videos in 4K at 30fps, 1080p at 60 fps and 720p slow motion at 120fps. The 16MP front-facing camera comes with Sony IMX371 sensor, 1.0μm pixel size, f/2.0 aperture.
It has a fingerprint sensor on home button and supports NFC, and it is powered by 3,300 mAh battery.
