Nokia 8 Appeared on AnTuTu & GFXBench, Confirms Snapdragon 835 and 2K Display

HMD Global to launch the next-gen Nokia smartphones dubbed as “Nokia 8”. The Nokia 8 which is expected to launch on 16th, August and has been subjected to several leaks and rumors, has now once again been spotted on AnTuTu and GFXBench revealing its main specifications.

The Nokia 8 have been seen at GFXBench for the very first time in three variants TA-1004, TA-1012 and TA-1052. Although all three variants appear as Nokia 9 but the mentioned model numbers TA-1004 and TA-1012 are assigned to the Nokia 8 which are confirmed by the Bluetooth SIG, in listing details the devices built by HMD Global with the model numbers TA-1004 and TA-1012 also bear the name “Nokia 8”. However the model number TA-1052 might be referring new smartphone maybe called Nokia 9 or top variant of Nokia 8 as the GFXBench listing shows a 12MP rear and front camera as well, While TA-1052 variant appeared on AnTuTu shows dual camera setup 13MP + 13MP, while rest of the other features are same.

The GFXBench listing reveals that the smartphone runs on Android Nougat 7.1.1 OS and comes with an 5.3-inch display with 2560×1440 pixels of resolution. The listing also shows that the touchscreen will come with 5 finger gesture support.

The Nokia 8 will be powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 835 processor paired with 4GB of RAM and Adreno 540 GPU. According to the listing it would come with 64GB internal storage with usable available storage of up to 51GB.

The other specifications include NFC, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2 and sensors supports like proximity, accelerometer, barometer, digital compass, gyroscope and pedometer.
