Motorola Officially Launched Moto G5S and Moto G5S Plus in Germany
Motorola on Today has added two new smartphones to its Moto G5 line with launch of Moto G5S and Moto G5S Plus. Motorola has introduced its Moto G5S and Moto G5S Plus smartphone in Germany. The duo is an upgrade variants of the Moto G5 and the Moto G5 Plus which are debuted at the MWC in February, this year.
Motorola Moto G5S will go on sale for 249 Euros (Approx $294 USD), while Moto G5S Plus will go for 299.99 Euros (Approx $355 USD). The shipping will start from 18th, August.
Both Moto G5S and Moto G5S Plus support dual-SIM and run on Android 7.1 Nougat OS. Both smartphones come in single variant 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage which is further expandable by up to 128GB via a micro-SD card slot. Both are powered by 3,000 mAh battery with TurboPower technology claimed to provide 5 hours of battery life for 15 minutes of charging. The Moto G5S Plus also comes with NFC support.
The Moto G5S sports a 5.2-inch display of 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and it is powered by a 64-bit 1.4 GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor paired with Adreno 505 GPU.
The Moto G5S comes with a 16-megapixel rear camera with 8x zoom for images and 4x zoom for videos, f/2.0 Aperture, Phase Detect Auto-Focus (PDAF) and more. It comes with a 5-megapixel camera at front with f/2.0 aperture, wide-angle lens, portrait mode and more. Both rear and front cameras have a single LED flash. The rear camera can record videos in max full HD 1080p at 30fps and can capture slow motion videos.
In terms of connectivity it includes 2G, 3G UMTS / HSPA+, 4G LTE Cat 4, USB V2.0, Bluetooth v4.2 BR / EDR + BLE, GPS / A-GPS / GLONASS for navigation and positioning, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n and 3.5 mm headphone jack. Sensors on the board include fingerprint, accelerometer, proximity and ambient light.
On other hand the Moto G5S plus sports a slightly big 5.5-inch display of 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and it is powered by a 64-bit 2.0 GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor paired with Adreno 506 GPU.
The Moto G5S plus come with a 13MP + 13MP dual rear camera with dual LED flash, f/2.0 Aperture, 8x zoom for images and 4x zoom for videos and more. It have a 8-megapixel camera at front with single LED flash, f/2.0 aperture, wide-angle lens, portrait mode and more. The rear camera can record videos in max 4K ultra HD 2160p at 30fps and can capture slow motion videos at 60fps.
In terms of connectivity it includes 2G, 3G UMTS / HSPA+, 4G LTE Cat 6, USB V2.0, Bluetooth v4.2 BR / EDR + BLE, GPS / A-GPS / GLONASS for navigation and positioning, NFC, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4GHz + 5GHz) and 3.5 mm headphone jack. Sensors on the board include fingerprint, accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity and ambient light.
Both smartphones come with metal unibody designs and Water-repellent nanocoating, and available in Lunar Gray and Blush Gold color options.
