Honor 7X Launching in India this December
Honor powered by Huawei had launched Honor 7X few weeks ago in China. Till now its price and availability for other regions remained unknown.
But now a new report suggests that Honor 7X will be available in India in this December. The Honor’s President George Zhao said in an interview with IANS that we will launch Honor 7X in December at such a price that it will have no competitor in that segment. The George Zhao said, “it will introduce the Honor 7X at an “unbeatable price.” The Honor 7X will be available in both online and offline.
Zhao also said that Honor was aiming to increase its position in the Indian market through the release of powerful handsets at low costs and of the Honor 7X specifically, said it would have such “a price that it will have no competitor in that segment.” In addition, Zhao said, “We have the capability to out-compete other dominating players in the Indian smartphone market in terms of quality, but our marketing efforts need to improve.”
“Honor began manufacturing in India with the Holly series. It is the first brand to respond to the Government of India’s request for SOS feature on phones. Honor shipped 98.8 percent more devices in 2017 than in 2016. But in India, we need strengthen offline channels” said Zhao.
The Honor 7X was launched in three variants, the base variant with 32GB internal memory cost at 1,299 yuan (Approx $195) in China, the 64 GB variant priced 1,699 yuan (Approx $265), while the top variant with 128 GB costs 1,999 yuan (Approx $301). All three variants support microSD card up to 256GB to expand memory.
To recall, Honor 7X comes with 5.93-inch full-HD+ (1080x2160px) resolution display with 18:9 aspect ratio and is powered by the octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 659 processor with dual-core ARM Mali-T830 MP2 GPU and 4GB of RAM. It comes with 16 MP + 2 MP dual cameras at back and 8MP at front. It runs on Android 7.0 Nougat OS based on EMUI 5.1 and is powered by the 3,340 mAh battery.
