HTC U11 Plus and U11 Life Key Details Leaked Ahead of launch

WinFuture says the U11 Life will be priced at €400 (Approx $469 USD) in Germany and will be available in Black, White, and Blue color variants.

HTC is going to hold a launch event on November 2, where the company is expected to introduce two new smartphones U11 Plus and U11 Life as per previous leaks. Now, new leaks about the upcoming devices have surfaced online revealing some of its key details about design and specifications.

HTC’s new smartphone recently spotted on TENAA which is believed to be U11 Plus has revealed some key specifications of it. Considering the leaked images of the U11 Plus will sport a bezel-less display and an aspect ratio of 18:9. According to TENAA, the smartphone will sport a 6-inch display with a screen resolution of 2880 x 1440 pixels protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. However, HTC could also introduce 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage variant. Both are expected to available in Sapphire Blue and Ice White color variants.

The U11 Plus would also be equipped with Edge Sense, Boom Sound, and IP68 certification for water and dust protection. It will have a 12-megapixel rear camera with dual LED flash alongside an 8-megapixel camera for selfies and video calling at front. The U11 Plus will run on Android 8.0 Oreo and it will be powered by a 3930mAH battery with Quick Charge 3.0. According to the TENAA listing, the HTC U11 Plus will not have a headphone jack and support only a single USB Type-C port.

According to WinFuture, HTC will also introduce U11 Life at the event which will feature a 5.2-inch 1080p display and could be powered by a Snapdragon 630 SoC paired with 3GB/4GB of RAM and 32GB of inbuilt storage with microSD card support. The U11 Life is also expected to feature support for NFC, Bluetooth 5.0, and the Edge Sense. The HTC U11 Life will come with Android One program with a standard Android version. As part of the Android One program, the smartphone will come with a standardized version of Google’s operating system without any changes made by the manufacturer and only with Google’s own apps.

The fingerprint reader is located below the display, which also serves as a home button. It will sport a 16-megapixel rear and front-facing cameras. The U11 Life will run on Android 8.0 Oreo and could be powered by 2600mAh battery.
