Google Pixel 2 Could be the First Smartphone to Feature Snapdragon 836 SoC

According to Fudzilla reports sources in the industry have confirmed to them that Google’s Pixel 2 will be the first smartphone to be featured with new Qualcomm Snapdragon 836 processor. The same thing happened last year as Pixel and Pixel XL were the first smartphones launched with the updated Snapdragon 821 processor.
The new Snapdragon 836 processor will be 10% faster than its predecessors and it will be smaller chip offer significant improvements for cameras to take better quality pictures. The clock speed for both CPU and GPU will be increased, The result will be a slightly faster SoC with some battery life improvements.
Based on previews rumors Google’s upcoming Pixel 2 and Pixel XL 2 would look quite different in terms of design compared to their predecessors. The Pixel 2 and Pixel XL 2 could sport a near bezel-less design like LG G6 and always on display mode, and “squeezable” frames like HTC U11.
